In an effort to simplify the shopping experience for our customers, we've opted to adopt a standard naming convention for all items on this site. Detailed below, the naming convention will enable our customers to find products relevant to them more quickly.
Part of this naming convention is listing the manufacture's size of the product in the product name, as appropriate, so you will know if the item is your size before clicking into it's descriptions. Details of this naming convention appear below.
Any item that is traditionally gendered will have the following naming convention:
[Size] - [Gender] [Brand] [Item Name]
As part of this naming convention, the "Children's" category will be treated as a gender.
Purses, bags, and some accessories will be excluded from this naming convention.
In the event there is no brand listed on the item, the brand will be omitted from the naming convention.
Any item that has a standard size ( "S", "M", "L", "XL", etc.) indicated by the manufacturer that is located on a tag on the garment will have this size stated as the first few characters of the product name.
By doing this, you can filter for "Men's Long Sleeve Shirt" and you will be able to see all the sizes up front for the items that display. You can then sort by "Name" and have all items that are size "Large" grouped together with each other under "L - ".
Any item that has a standard size ( "S", "M", "L", "XL", etc.) indicated by the manufacturer that is located on a tag on the garment will have this size stated as the first few characters of the product name. Additionally, any garment that has a numerical value assigned by the manufacturer will also have this displayed in the name in a similar fashion.
By doing this, you can filter for "Women's Pants" and you will be able to see all the sizes up front for the items that display. You can then sort by "Name" and have all items that are size "2" grouped together with each other under "2 - ".
Any item that has a standard numerical size indicated by the manufacturer that is located on a tag on the item will have this size stated as the first few characters of the product name.
By doing this, you can filter for "Women's Footwear" and you will be able to see all the sizes up front for the items that display. You can then sort by "Name" and have all items that are size "7" grouped together with each other under "7 - ".
All numerical sizes will be represented using the US sizing chart. Any conversions done from a different sizing chart (UK, JAP, etc.) will be indicated in the description.
Items that have both a standard size ( "S", "M", "L", "XL", etc.) AND a numeric size ("32", "34", etc.) will have the standard (alpha) size displayed in the item name, but will have both displayed in the item description along with a picture of the tag included in the images.
Items that have two standard sizes ("S/M") or two numeric sizes ("3-4") will have the smaller of the two sizes used in the item name, but the entire manufacture's size designation will appear in the item description, along with an image of the tag.
Items indicated as "Petite" will have the size indicated in the item name with a "P" either before or after the standard/numeric size.
We leverage the sizes placed on the items by the manufacturers. Please note that sizes can differ between manufacturers, so please ensure you refer to the manufacturer's size chart for the item you are considering purchasing.
